Energy Audits

You may be asking yourself why do I need an energy audit? What does it do for me? How much does it cost? These are all very good questions and fortunately we can answer most if not all of your questions here.

Why do you need an energy audit? The audit is a process where a BPI Certified auditor will come to your home and analize the differnt systems of your home. The audit is the first step in a process of determining what your potential energy savings can be. We can determine what opportunities are available to you to get your biggest bang for your buck! Today's economy is one that makes people like you and I very scared to make any investment, however the Home Performance with Energy Star prgram sponsored by NJ Clean Energy has taken the fear out of this process. At a 25% energy savings level, you qualify for a $5,000 rebate, $10,000 loan @ 0% for 10 years! In most cases we can achieve this goal without exceeding $15,000, meaning there is 0 up front out of pocket expense! Your monthly savings from this investment is generally between $70-$100 per month. At the end of the project you may actually see positive cash flow!

What does the energy audit cost? The audit is FREE. We conduct a comprehensive energy audit in your home, this process takes about 2 - 3 hours.

What will this do for me? When the audit is complete we will present a proposal to you showing the various energy conserving measures to attain the 25% savings level. In return for the savings, in most cases you will have a new furnace, central air conditioner, on demand water heater, insulation and air sealing! It sounds too good to be true, but it's not. We have been participating in this program since 2009 and have a complete staff waiting to help you.
